Scheduled Tests and Lab Assignments
If a student is absent when a test is scheduled then it is his/her responsibility to notify the instructor. Makeup tests will not be given if the instructor has not received notification within a reasonable time (determined by the instructor) for a scheduled test. All lab assignments are due at the end of the class time in which they are scheduled. At the discretion of the instructor, lab assignments may receive only partial credit if they are turned in late.
Course Syllabus Changes
The course syllabus is subject to change at the discretion of the instructor. Changes will be handed out in written form as an addendum to the syllabus. The course goals, objectives and student competencies do not change.
Cell Phone And Beeper Policy
A classroom environment conducive for learning is the responsibility of both the instructor and students in the class. Disruptions and distractions in the classroom caused by cell phones and beepers are not conductive to classroom learning. Prior to entering a class all cell phones and beeper should be set on vibrate or turned off. Students failing to do so will be asked to leave class and may not be allowed to return to class that day at the instructor’s discretion. Cell phones are not to be used during testing. Students caught using a cell phone during testing will have violated testing procedures and be dealt with accordingly.
